Men's Open Triples Tournament -Sunday 14th July

An excellent Tournament played on a beautiful sunny day.
Sadly we held a minutes silence in memory of Simon Pascoe ,Secretary at Yeovil and Captain of the 49ers Team who passed away suddenly on Friday 11th July. His wife and son together with the two remaining members of his team attend in the morning in his memory.
The winners of the A group wereCity of Wells who pipped The Motley Crew on shot difference and the winners of the B group were ‘The Force'(Angoves)who were 1 point ahead of Paulton.
The Final was closely contested betweem The Force
-Three St Andrews members Jack and Si Angove and Ian Allchorne won all four group games then beat City of Wells in the final.
City of Wells.Tony Denning, T. Blair (honest), P. Hayes runners up 3rd and 4th place final between Paulton (who won)and The Motley Crew.:Graham Millard,Phil Villas, Darrell Johnson.
Prize money and the Trophy was presented by Neil Westlake on behalf of the sponsors Avoncrop Amenity Products
