‘The Parrot’ is a major event of our bowling Season

It is ‘only’ a two leg 5 rink match between friends and rivals Banwell. But it secures ‘bragging rights’ for another year and is fiercely competitive.

The Parrott Shield Charles. J. Parrott introduced a new shield to be contested each year between Banwell and Winscombe B.C on a home and away basis - he first presented this trophy, to Winscombe on the 20th September 1967 *RUNNING TOTAL: WINSCOMBE 25 v BANWELL 32*
