THE PARROT SHIELD

‘The Parrot’ is a major event of our bowling Season.

It is ‘only’ a two leg 5 rink match between friends and rivals Banwell. But it secures ‘bragging rights’ for another year and is fiercely competitive.
Here are the winners over the years.

The Parrott Shield
 Charles. J. Parrott introduced a new shield to be contested each year between Banwell and Winscombe B.C
on a home and away basis - he first presented this trophy, to Winscombe on the 20th September 1967
