Matters Arising. Confirmed Mike Smart will enter National and County Competitions on the websites.
It was agreed that Bills from our suppliers should be reviewed to monitor our expenditure.

I suggest we take the profit from the Fixed Deposit (£265) and set up a similar account for one year subject to rates applying at time.of maturity.

Fixture Secretary report.
Fixtures are complete and Lorna is putting the Fixture Diary together.
I have added up our fixtures and find in total there are no less than 155.
Here is a breakdown.
You will see that the Men will only play 5 Friendlies out of least 84 matches during the season- Ladies a few more at 8.
I am pleased that we will play 9 Tourist games this year – all but the Notts County match is a mixed game.
I see the Ladies are ‘getting serious’ this year with 8 practice afternoons!
Ken is working on an availability system for online use.

Mens’ Section Report Match against Taunton Vivery was enjoyed despite the loss.Woodspring League is going well.
Ladies Captain Report. Ladies programme is being sorted.

Estate Report. A sample board for around the green will be tested. The hedge is being cut by B.Bennett &Co.

Social.
Bob Kibble has agreed to organise a quiz in Late February.
Chrissie asked for permission to organise for next year a Christmas Pantomime on Sat.12th December.All agreed.

Welfare. Tony Atkinson has unfortunately had a stroke we wish him well.

Annual dinner 16th October 2026. After some adverse comments Lew Collier is looking at other venues,Winscombe Cricket Club being a strong contender.

Ken reported that the New Articles of Association for the new Company were being looked at and membership categories would be part of the change.Mike Rolls asked whether short mat membership and Social could be included under one umbrella.
Chris Bryant will attend the next meeting to outline ideas for recruitment.
Chriisie Bryant to proceed with producing the Mentoring Booklet.Any bowling kit required should be placed with Chrissie by early Februsry.
Wilf reported that Mavis Adams and Angela had donated £100 to The Air Ambulance Charity from card sales and general donations from both.
It was agreed that Wilf should obtain 2 new Indoor Short Mat jacks.
Honours boards and in the process of being updated.
Lew Collier raised the subject of installing a camera to cover the carpark area following some trespassing events. Dave Johnson agreed to investigate and report back for the next meeting.
